Built by a psychiatrist and an engineer.
Both of us still take demos personally.
Practicing psychiatrist since 2008. MD, Saba University School of Medicine. Psychiatry residency at Albany Medical Center. Founded Psychvisit in 2016: outpatient med management, psychotherapy, TMS, Spravato, ketamine, genetic testing, and long-acting injectables for bipolar and addiction. Still sees patients on Nextvisit.
Sessions run 45 to 60 minutes and cover trauma, medication side effects, and therapeutic progress. There is no quick checkbox approach to psychiatric documentation.
Ryan Yannelli is Nextvisit's co-founder and CTO and sits on its board. He leads security and infrastructure.
Ryan started building websites for local businesses at 12. At 17, while still in school, he joined an educational technology network as a support engineer. By 19 he was one of five engineers, in a company of more than 200, that it trusted with its most complex projects. Since then he has worked directly with hospital executives, university leadership, school superintendents, and public officials. Later, at an IT consulting firm, he went from the support desk to professional services engineering in six weeks, faster than anyone in the firm's history.
He has founded and exited multiple software, IT, and telecommunications companies, including a carrier-grade telecom provider.
Over more than 15 years Ryan has designed networks and communications systems, including redundancy and failover, for major New York hospital systems, universities, state agencies, municipalities, and law enforcement. He has also advised Fortune 500 and Inc. 5000 companies, high-net-worth families, and public figures on security and infrastructure, much of it work that required complete discretion.
Clients have often asked for Ryan to lead their hardest projects, mostly because he can explain complicated systems in plain English. He took Nextvisit through Jason Calacanis's Founder University, where it earned an investment offer, and into the LAUNCH accelerator (cohort LA35) the same year.
We're building clinical memory for behavioral health.
We don't hand off demos to sales.
Fifteen minutes with one of us is enough to walk through a real visit. No slides.
